Every night, Connor and Juliana play the New York Times Games together before falling asleep. Connections is Juliana's favorite. She tries to finish it in under five minutes.
Then she takes out her contact lenses, closes her eyes, and Connor plays Wordle while she falls asleep. Eyes shut, guessing in the dark.
We made this for our wedding. Play along.
Connor's cousin Rachel drew the doodle below in a game of Tele-Pictionary only 3 weeks after Connor had met Juliana.
He'd spent a whole family trip talking about her, so Rachel teased him and drew the proposal (mountains, ring, knee, and all). And, well, you know the rest.

A few of our favorite coffee shops and restaurants, plus places to check out while you're in Boulder.
One of our favorite places in Boulder. Great coffees, fancy matchas, delicious egg salad, and incredible daily-made baked goods.
Get the breakfast sandwich (available before 2pm), it's incredible.
Our go-to brunch place, farm-to-table American with a rotating menu of local ingredients.
A food hall with international cuisines and great drinks, espresso martinis, empanadas, and rooftop mountain views.
Boulder's only food truck park and full bar, tap house, coffee shop, event space, pup zone, and backyard. Cornhole and jenga if you're looking for more fun.
A Pearl Street classic. Seasonal American bistro with a warm, community-driven menu and one of the best patios downtown.
A cozy, dimly lit steakhouse tucked just off Pearl. Classic cuts, strong martinis, and a proper date-night feel.
Boulder consistently ranks among the top U.S. cities for craft breweries per capita. A few we recommend:
Easy-drinking Colorado craft in a dog-friendly taproom. Their Craft Lager is a good place to start.
A Boulder institution just off Pearl, hippie-pub vibe, killer nachos, and a rotating lineup of house brews.
Colorado's first all-organic brewery. Small, unpretentious taproom with a tidy list of clean, hop-forward beers.
The heart of historic downtown, four pedestrian-only blocks of sculptures, street performers, shops, and restaurants. Our faves: SALT (brunch), the Boulder Bookstore, and Gelato Boy.
Unbeatable views and plenty of room to run, throw a frisbee, or spread out a blanket for snacks.
A 3.5-mile loop, generally considered easy. Averages 1h 20min, unless you walk as fast as Juliana, in which case less than an hour.
Juliana grew up rafting with her dad (a lifelong river guide and master of Grand Canyon rapids). If you have an extra day or two in Colorado, we highly recommend a trip down the river.
Public mountain-view golf course covering 125 acres, 18 holes, practice area, and pro shop.
You played every game at our wedding. We hope that means you had a good time — or at least a long one.
Now go dance.
